Yona Lunsky

Yona Lunsky completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at The Ohio State University, specializing in the area of dual diagnosis, followed by a two year postdoctoral fellowship in Toronto. She is now an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Psychiatry and the Research Section Head in the Dual Diagnosis Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and an Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences. She is the director of the Health Care Access Research in Developmental Disabilities (H-CARDD) Program.

Her research interests include: risk factors for dual diagnosis, health services use and dual diagnosis, staff training, mental health policy and the impact of disability on the family.

She has written more than 100 research papers and book chapters on developmental disability and health issues.
