Dr. Angela Hassiotis

Dr. Angela Hassiotis is a clinical academic with a particular interest in health services research in intellectual disabilities. Her range of research topics includes mental health and challenging behaviour in working age and older adults with intellectual disabilities and stigma. Dr. Hassiotis and her colleagues and collaborators are currently involved in several trials of psychological and pharmacological interventions funded by the National Institute for Health Research in the UK.

She is a Fellow at the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, and teaches and supervises undergraduate students and doctoral trainees.
