Dr. Robin Friedlander

Robin Friedlander was born in South Africa where he trained in Medicine and Psychiatry.

He is the Clinical Director of the Vancouver & Fraser Developmental Disability Mental Health Service ( DDMHS), which provides specialized community based mental health treatment for adolescents and adults with Developmental Disabilities in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. He also is an active participant in the neuropsychiatry clinic at BC Childrens’ Hospital. He is Clinical Professor and Head of the Developmental Disorders Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC and past Chair of the Developmental Disabilities section of the Canadian Psychiatric Association. Dr. Friedlander chairs the Planning Committee of the biennial British Columbia Health and Wellbeing Conferences.
