Professor Nick Lennox, FRACGP, PhD, is Director of the University of Queensland’s Centre for Intellectual & Developmental Disability.

He is a researcher, educator, advocate and medical clinician. He has been instrumental in development of the Developmental Disability Therapeutic Guidelines Book, performed the world’s three largest RCTs in people with intellectual disability (of the CHAP health assessment process & Ask health diary) & lead the writing of the health intervention segment of the recently released WHO World Report on Disability. In 2012 the ASID recognised his work and was awarded the honorary title of ASID Fellow.

He has successfully advocated for positive changes in health service policy and practice; including the development of a Medicare cover for annual assessments.
